Our goal is to help put bodies in balance.
But because every body is different–
and because balance is dynamic–every Bodycraft session is unique, individualized, and enjoyably unpredictable. Here, “individualized” means more than “one-to- one”; it means we honor your individuality. Within the hour of time we hold for you, we do whatever is necessary to create the space you need for your body to open, release, and transform.
Every session begins with listening.
We listen without judgement and acknowledge your wholeness–and then, once we understand where you are in this moment, we begin to shape your session.
Depending on your energetic state
You might start on your feet, stretching your muscles to warm up your body. Perhaps first you need to relax, breathe, and become centered. Maybe you need to talk a while longer. Or calm your nervous system–or heal an injury–with some gentle hands-on work. Maybe you need to seek the middle ground between stability and mobility. Or hit the ground running with some vigorous core work. However you choose to spend your time at Bodycraft, it will never be based on a textbook scenario or a cookie-cutter template. Rather, you and your teacher will thoughtfully decide what it is you need and want in the moment of “now.”
