At Bodycraft Pilates, our one-to-one sessions offer a dedicated space to listen, respond, and work with your body as it is on that day.

Based in Park Slope, Brooklyn, we specialize in private Pilates sessions that are shaped around you – Your history, your needs, your pace.

Each session is crafted through careful observation, conversation, and an experienced, hands-on approach. There is no fixed template. Instead, we meet you where you are, and build from there.

Over time, this creates the conditions for meaningful and lasting change. In how you move, how you feel, and how you relate to your body.

What to expect

Your first session begins with a conversation.

We take time to understand your history, your current experience, and what you are hoping for. This may include injuries, patterns of tension, or simply a sense that something is not quite working as it could.

From there, we begin to move.

Using the Pilates apparatus and mat work, we explore how your body organises itself in movement. We observe, listen, and respond. At times the work may feel physically demanding. At other times, it may be subtle and restorative.

Throughout, the focus remains on building awareness, strength, and coordination in a way that is sustainable and meaningful.

Sessions evolve over time. As your body changes, so does the work. This is a process of collaboration, where your experience and our guidance come together.

Our work is grounded in a contemporary Pilates practice, informed by anatomy, observation, and years of experience working with a wide range of bodies.

We do not follow a set sequence or impose a fixed idea of how movement should look.

Instead, we pay attention.

We listen to what your body is communicating, and respond with care, precision, and curiosity. This allows us to support both rehabilitation and strength-building within the same practice.
